Semi-final basketball game was left without visitors. The matter is that Catholic school administration asked their students to avoid visiting match after the mockery of Boston-area high school fans. Jewish population is large there and they were yelling abusing “You killed Jesus!”.
As Boston Globe reported, in West Roxbury Catholic Memorial School heads asked not to attend semi-final game on Monday. Such yells are awful and so they decided to organize several student meetings to discuss this terrible conduct.
In response, students of Catholic Memorial School who were present on Friday’s basketball match against Newton North High School decided not to suffer from mockery and were abused because their competitors were not able to understand their rules.
Peter Folan, as a president of Catholic Memorial, apologized for the behavior of his students. But David Fleishman – Newton Public School Superintendent – managed to contact Anti-Defamation League.
